Position Title: Senior Manager, Business Controls & SAP Access Control

Location: Connecticut, USA (Preference for East Hartford or nearby major RTX sites)
Salary Range: $124,000 – $250,000 per year
Travel: 10–15% (occasional business travel)
⚙️ Key Responsibilities
As the Senior Manager of Business Controls & SAP Access Control, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and improving the company’s financial and operational control systems.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Conducting risk-based Accounting & Control Assessments (ACAs) to manage financial and compliance risks.
Collaborating with leadership to close control gaps and strengthen compliance strategies.
Promoting risk awareness and internal control best practices through knowledge-sharing sessions.
Preparing and presenting clear reports on audit results and key business process reviews.
Managing consolidated reports on risk and control performance for senior management.
Leading special projects focused on risk mitigation and SAP control optimization.
Overseeing SAP Access Controls, reviewing user roles, and preventing segregation of duties conflicts.
🎓 Qualifications & Requirements
Must-Have:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
10+ years of professional experience in auditing, accounting, or financial risk management.
Strong hands-on experience with SAP Access Control and role design.
U.S. citizenship (required due to government program access).
Preferred:
CPA or MBA certification.
Previous experience in aerospace, defense, or large-scale corporate finance environments.
