Key Responsibilities
As a Business Development Manager, your main duties will include:
Business Development
Develop and implement strategies to expand market share and increase revenue.
Drive eCommerce growth while managing product categories across Georgia and North Carolina territories.
Sales Management
Lead retail, wholesale, and fleet sales initiatives.
Build strong dealer relationships and convert target fleet accounts into long-term partnerships.
Monitor sales processes and ensure performance targets are met.
Product & Market Strategy
Collaborate with product teams to align offerings with customer needs.
Provide insights for product development and lifecycle management.
Conduct market research to identify trends and business opportunities.
Negotiation & Relationship Building
Manage complex product negotiations with dealer partners.
Strengthen relationships with suppliers, dealer leadership, and national account fleets.
Use feedback to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.
Reporting & Analysis
Prepare sales pipeline and performance reports.
Utilize Salesforce CRM to track key metrics and business results.
Job Requirements
To qualify for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of sales experience (1+ year in a leadership role)
OR Master’s degree with 6+ years of sales experience (1+ year in leadership)
OR 10+ years of proven sales experience with leadership exposure
Skills & Qualifications:
Strong background in business development, sales, or product management
Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM systems
Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills
Strong data analysis and communication abilities
